The Empire of Naute is almost complete
For Australians, the stigma has always been that we are lazy and laid back. We supposedly spend more time doing leisure activities and have a work life balance that is supposedly more about “life” then it is about “work”.
So why is it that we are now the country that works the longest hours and is, on average, the most stressed?

So this whole blog thing tends to come and go with me. I’ve taken down all the type stuff as it was all very quick work and i didn’t really spend much time thinking about layouts. I am starting this all fresh!
So, Hi there! Welcome to my ego! I really do think the term blog should be replaced but hey, that’s tangential thinking and has no place here. The basic premise i have in mind for this here place of goo is that of a positivity blog. I am a big believer in the power of positive thinking, by which i mean consciously making yourself happy and not relying on external factors to initiate states of well being. So this will be a place that i will post inspiration, work, things i am grateful for and general stay away from ANY whinging, whining or negativity. Because life IS magic if you really want it to be.
As of right now i am making a pact with myself to post one thing on this blog every day, no matter what it is, even if it is silly. But to get into the habit. I am also going to be putting myself through a strenuous caricature course in which i will be drawing at least one caricature per day.
Other things on my to do list include:
1. Finishing mums little book.
2. Finishing dragon sculpt/toy/thing.
3. Create characters for under milkwood comic idea.
4. Start getting up at 6am
5. Get going to the gym regularily, think about cycling to school!
6. Start using daily planner again
7. Book tickets to Canberra.
8. Finish Bioshock 2 BEFORE school starts again.
9. Worry less, drink less coffee!
10. Think up a character for Daves class, have a look at coptic rendering (*shudder*), Finish Cell. this is like 3 things in one!
11. CALL CENTRELINK.
12. Write down idea for funny romance story involving your Nanna and Grandad. (I am convinced my Nan is a gypsy and my Grandad was a bus driver in england. Their love was obviously illicit! My Nan the steely, flint eyed, no-nonsense adventuresome gypsy queen and my short, romantic snuffly nosed, plodding grandad! So many adventures they could have! Like the letters they might have sent each other while my Grandad was in the war. I imagine grandad’s full of flowery prose and my nan’s would have been very practical, possibly lovingly berating. Ugh! So fun!
)
13. Find good felt for fox ears and then make said ears.
14. Start thinking about animation for school group work.
15. Food shopping as all i have is oats, honey and a can of tomatoes :/
Woo i feel tired just looking at that list!
I hate being low on energy, but sleeping does feel amazing at the moment. I think i should have been born a cat, i love to sleep, i love sitting on heaters, i like to be very autonomous and mice taste… well ok, maybe not.
Ciao bella!

I’m a great stop motion enthusiast, I don’t think 3D animation will ever even touch the meticulous attention to detail and determined love that has to go into producing something like this. Touch is definately the right word here, it’s the tactility of the medium, the human-ness that goes into creating something handled by a thousand different creative people, from photographer to sculptor to lighter etc, as opposed to the cold inhumanity of a software that artificially replaces all of these things with programmed constructs.
